Captain Charles is one of the largest and most amazing seafood restaurants in Maryland. At the seafood house, you can enjoy the benefits of a fresh catch straight from the boat. The restaurant features an oyster bar, live music, sports bar, and family-friendly restaurant. It is known as one of the best spots to enjoy fresh crab, lobster, and of course amazing oysters gathered by local fishermen in the area.
The marina is just outside of the Captain Charles Seafood House and is full service. You can head out on the water for a leisurely cruise after dinner at the seafood house. You can also rent a boat or a slip for the day.
Nearby Town of LaPlata
The town of LaPlata is the county seat for Charles County and dates back to the 1870s when the Pennsylvania Railroad came through Maryland.
