Currently, the trail is 11 miles of completed trail between Charlotte Hall and Leonardtown. The trail is paved and 10 feet wide. It allows for pedestrians, bicyclists, and horseback riders. The trail follows what was once a railroad right of way. In Hughesville, it starts at Baggett Park which is a great community park on 14 acres with sports fields and playgrounds.
